Menlo

Menlo One is an open source set of tools and protocols that allow developers to build systems for marketplaces that support the emerging token economy. The three technologies that Menlo One are proposing are- a desktop native app, a proof of reputation algorithm, and a decentralized database. Their prime focus is the token crowdfunding market which suffers from critical limitations around user experience, security, and compliance that presently stymie widespread adoption.

Goal

Menlo One aims to democratize the tools and practices which have proven successful for traditional tech investment, such as hiring experts to help vet deals. The blockchain technology will be made so simple and secure that almost anyone will be able to participate. Menlo One is trying to make the token buying process a smooth and easy experience for a newbie too and it should not be restricted to only those who have a strong technical background.

About Menlo One

Menlo One is a serial entrepreneur with deep experience and understanding in building successful consumer-focused web products. Menlo One is determined to come up with a product that they wished they had themselves when they were starting off. Menlo One believes in privacy-preserving, disintermediated, censorship-resistant, elegant, fast, affordable and open source. All the parties involved must authenticate into the system with an Ethereum key. Menlo One is, at its core, a marketplace for attention. The heart of the Menlo One ecosystem is a token-curated registry which rewards those who have been good actors over a long period of time.
